Job Function Summary: Manages a group of senior Enterprise Risk Management experts and collaborates with officers and senior leaders to identify, evaluate, mitigate, control, and report top risks to the company.
Key Responsibilities
Manage Risk Management Strategy, Objectives & Plans Develops short-term and long-term strategies for the department and oversees the development and management of departmental objectives and plans.
Manage Power Operations Risk Management Directs the oversight of market and operational risks. Ensures that risks are fully assessed, product valuations are appropriate, and transactions are priced to compensate for risks incurred. Ensures adherence to risk management policies and procedures. Establishes procedures to ensure accurate and timely monitoring and reporting of daily risk exposure and capital at risk, using appropriate quantification and valuation methodologies.
Functional Leadership Serves as a thought leader and is recognized as a foremost authority in a specialized area. Innovates and applies best practices to the program area and may significantly contribute to increasing product demand and company revenues. Exercises delegated and discretionary authority over the planning, direction, and timely execution of a program. Establishes and maintains contacts with key and influential individuals within and outside the company to advance program goals
Financial Management Sets strategy and develops plans, policies, and processes for the accounting, budgeting and, where applicable, charging of function resources and services, including the definition of cost models and charging models; sets, negotiates, approves and manages financial budgets and targets, ensuring adequate funding for function objectives and plans.
Resourcing Oversees workforce planning and resource strategy for the function, ensuring adequate skilled resources are available to meet planned service delivery or function objectives. Ensures alignment with strategic human resource plans.
Professional Development Determines organizational development needs aligned with business requirements and the strategic direction of the function. Develops strategies to achieve required change; implements succession plans for key roles, and may mentor senior leaders within the organization.
Education/Experience
We can hire at either the Director or Senior Manager level, dependent upon the successful candidate's background
Education Requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or other related field or equivalent experience.
Experience Typically 15 more years in related field. Advanced knowledge of risk management process and principles. Advanced knowledge of accounting and financial principles, theory and practices

Compensation Range:
$139,230.00 - $309,140.00
Actual total compensation, including a performance based incentive bonus, is commensurate with experience, skills, qualifications, education, training, and internal equity. While we anticipate the selected candidate for this position will fall towards the middle or entry point of the compensation range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis.
