**This position is PART-TIME only, starting at 8 hours (one day) per week.**

As a Part-Time Glass Installer on the Portland Glass team, a typical day for you will include:
- Installing flat and/or automotive glass to meet industry standards
- Reading and understanding blueprints and specifications for necessary work details
- Following precautions to ensure safe handling of glass and materials
- Operating company vehicle safely and responsibly
- Efficiently and professionally explaining glass installation process to customers
- Variety of work responsibilities to include hands-on technical skills, as well as computer/administrative skills

(Required qualifications)
- New hires will be extensively trained. Carpentry related experience required.
- Proficient use of hand tools
- Carpentry related skills (accurately reading a tape measure, safely using power tools, ability to read blueprints, excellent coordination, knowledge of basic construction math)
- Works well with technology, including office computers, phones, and equipment
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test, per applicable state laws
- Education: High school diploma or GED
- Physical requirements: Must be able to lift minimum of 50 pounds
