So, what does an Inside Sales & Operations Coordinator actually do ?

Think of this role as part sales advisor, part product specialist, and part deal facilitator. Youll be responsible for :

  • Technology & Product Consultation : Helping clients and our sales team understand the differences between laptops, servers, and IT services like Dell warranties and Microsoft licensing. Youll recommend the right solutions based on a business' particular needs.
  • Sales Process & Quoting : Creating accurate quotes and proposals, ensuring all specs and service options are clearly outlined, and the "I's" are dotted and "T's" are crossed.
  • Upselling & Solution Building : Identifying opportunities for clients to upgrade or optimize their IT infrastructure and making recommendations that align with their business goals.
  • Vendor & Partner Engagement : Working with vendors to secure the best pricing, register deals, and integrate new offerings.
  • Agreement Renewals & New Contracts : Managing renewals, ensuring seamless transitions, and keeping everything organized for sales success.
  • Sales Order & Invoice Processing : Ensuring completed sales orders and projects are correctly invoiced and procured.
  • Urgent Order Coordination : Acting as the go-to person for time-sensitive orders, keeping clients, Client Account Managers, and our Service Team in sync.
  • Process & Sales Support : Maintaining quoting templates, assisting Client Account Managers with product research, and participating in regular sales training to stay sharp.
  • Collaboration : Partnering with our Account Management and Sales teams to build out hardware and agreement proposals. Then, when the deal's closed, making sure our Procurement and Project teams have everything they need to bring the dream to life .

What You Bring to the Table :

Must-Haves :

  • Experience in IT sales support, technology procurement, or sales coordination
  • Strong knowledge of laptops, servers, networking gear, and IT services (We work closely with Dell, Microsoft, Cisco, and more.)
  • An eagle eye for details because accuracy matters when handling agreements and sales orders.
  • Comfortable interacting with clients Youll be guiding them through technology decisions.
  • A sales-oriented outlook You recognize opportunities to improve a deal and help clients make informed choices.
  • Process-driven and organized You love efficiency and keeping things on track.
  • Tech-savvy mindset If you know Quoter, ConnectWise, or Cisco / Meraki, great! If not, we'll teach you.

  • Experience in IT sales, procurement, or solutions consulting
  • Familiarity with vendor deal registrations and procurement workflows
  • A knack for improving processes and driving efficiency in sales operations

    As an Inside Sales & Operations Coordinator, your day might include :

  • Walking a client through the differences between two Dell laptops and helping them choose the best fit.
  • Finalizing a hardware quote and answering follow-up questions from a Client Account Manager.
  • Securing special pricing with a vendor for a key client deal.
  • Coordinating with procurement to ensure a clients urgent order arrives on time.
  • Attending a sales huddle to discuss upcoming deals and product changes.
