• Experienced Caregivers: At least 2 years of experience (nannying, daycare, teaching, or related). Related education can be substituted for one year of experience.
• CPR & First Aid Certified (or willing to get certified).
• Strong Communication Skills: Ability to collaborate with parents and follow care plans.
• Professional & Reliable: Punctual, trustworthy, and dedicated.
• Reliable Transportation: Willing to travel within Portland and surrounding suburbs.
• Background Check Required: All applicants must pass a national background check.

PLACEMENT INFORMATION:

A kind, outdoor-loving family in Beaverton is seeking an experienced and communicative long-term nanny for their 8-month-old son. This position offers 30 hours per week (Monday - Thursday, 8:45 AM – 3:15 PM. Friday: 8:45 AM -12:45 PM), and Mom will be working from home the majority of the time in a separate office space. The family also has one friendly dog.

Their ideal nanny will be skilled in infant development and able to create a calm, stimulating environment for their son. A nanny who enjoys engaging in age-appropriate activities such as reading, using play gym/sensory toys, and spending time outdoors will be a perfect fit. The family values in-depth communication and asks that their nanny provide a high-level daily summary of care, which can be shared via an app or written log.

Must Haves:

• Experience with infants and knowledge of developmental milestones.
• Comfortable with a parent working from home.
• Emotionally mature, professional, and responsive to the baby’s needs.
• Ability to adapt to changing routines as the baby grows.
• Minimal to no fragrance use due to sensitivities (no perfume while working).

Nice-to-Haves:

• Fluency or proficiency in Spanish.
• Familiarity with introducing new foods.

While the primary focus will be caring for their son, the family would appreciate any assistance with cleaning bottles or pump parts during nap time, if time allows.
