What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Service CW II Position 0.75 FTE, Central Kitchen position at Portland Public Schools?
School year position 30.00 hours weekly, 6.00 hours daily on each student school day. Flexibility in work hours and work location will be required to meet the current and future needs of the Food Service Department. This position is currently a district wide float with tentative work hours 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. as work hours can fluctuate depending on student breakfast and lunch schedules. Experience with food preparation, sufficiently good physical condition, and ability to work long hours while standing. Must be capable of doing necessary paperwork, computerized point of sale, training, excellent math skills, and lifting at least 30 pounds. Pass and maintain ServSafe Certification preferred. Graduate from high school or GED equivalent. Minimum 2 years experience in food preparation preferred.
