Key Details:
· Location: Swan Island – North Portland
· Pay: $20.00 - $23.00

· Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm
What You’ll Do: Our AP/AR Clerk is key in maintaining accounting functions and practices to ensure accurate and reliable data necessary for business operations by working with the Sales Manager, Purchasing Manager, and Warehouse. A typical day will consist of:
· Invoicing customers, processing customer payments, generating customer statements, and issuing customer credits
· Reconciling incoming product, processing payments in a timely manner, vendor statement reviews, and reviewing freight bills
· Setting up and maintaining customer and vendor accounts
· Supporting sales and warehouse with issues related to pricing, quantity, returns, and credits
· Providing superior customer service to customers and suppliers
· Control and ordering of supplies
· Assist with organization of employee meetings and events
· Answering incoming phone calls
· All other tasks as assigned by management
Who You Are: The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys providing solutions, organizing competing priorities, interacting with customers and can successfully partner cross-departmentally with their excellent communication skills. Other qualifications include:
· High School diploma or equivalent required, College degree preferred
· Experience in wholesale distribution preferred
· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and company software
· Willingness to partake in a pre-employment background check and drug test.
Physical Requirements Candidates will need to be able to perform the functions of the role with or without reasonable accommodations. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to:
