Promotions & Marketing Intern

Position: Promotions & Marketing Intern

Start Date: Late March/ Early April

End Date: Mid-September

Compensation: $15.50/ hour

Hours: Approximately 30-35 hours/ week when the team is home

              Approximately 12 hours/ week when the team is on the road

·        Compose email marketing campaigns

·        Produce social media content including growing the team’s Tik-Tok account

·        Assist with the coordination of pregame and in-game promotions

·        Tag and organize photos

·        Create social media fan Facebook photo galleries

·        Assist in creating and implementing marketing campaigns utilizing tools such as Fan Compass and Stellar Algo

·        Assist in the creation and implementation of team promo nights

·        Website Updates

·        Produce thank you notes and photos to guests

 

·        Must currently be a college student (underclassmen, upperclassmen, and graduate students are all eligible)

·        A minimum of one season of interning in minor league sports is preferred

·        A desire to pursue a career in the sports management field

·        Strong customer service skills

·        A fun and outgoing personality with a strong work ethic

·        Knowledge of social media marketing and graphic design is a plus
