Job Description:
Portledge School is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Varsity Track Head Coach for our Spring coaching season. Candidates must be punctual, reliable, personable, and have experience coaching students. A positive attitude and a team-player mindset are a must. We are looking for hardworking, proactive, and professional individuals to join our staff.
Responsibilities:
Coaches at Portledge School will be responsible for setting up their fields and coaching spaces as needed and will coach on a set schedule on varying days and at varying times from Monday to Friday with on-campus practices, games, and off-campus games against local schools. Some weekend availability is needed.
Qualifications:
- Coaching and/or playing experience in relevant sport(s)
- First Aid certification - school can provide
- Willing to undergo fingerprinting in accordance with NYS Department of Education
- Willing to complete required New York State trainings in accordance with NYS Department of Education
Season:
- March 1 - May 31
