Responsibilities
- Conduct a program of treatment, management, diagnostic evaluation and care of patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system in a safe and therapeutically effective manner.
- Administer and document medication in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
- Correctly administer Cardiopulmonary Care Services in accordance with Policies and Procedures.
- Precept employees, new orients, and students.
- Maintain awareness of environmental conditions and initiates corrective intervention as indicated.
- Maintain a professional relationship with the medical staff.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- High School Graduate or Equivalent and completion of a respiratory care program approved by the American Medical Association
Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist by the National Board for Respiratory Care
- Idaho Licensed Respiratory Therapist licensure
Current BLS certification
Obtain ACLS and NRP within six months of hire and maintain as current
Preferred Job Requirements:
- PALS certification
