- Portneuf Medical Center is a nationally recognized healthcare leader with 205 beds, serving as the region's tertiary care and Level II Trauma Center, housing the Portneuf Heart and Vascular Institute, Portneuf Cancer Center, Portneuf Medical Group, and Portneuf Air Rescue.
Responsibilities
- Performs quality MRI scans and radiology while applying radiation and magnetic field safety measures.
- Maintains a high degree of accuracy in positioning and performing safe, timely, and accurate procedures.
- Remains sensitive to the physical and emotional needs of the patient through good communication, patient assessment, patient monitoring, and patient care skills.
- Collects patient data & documents procedure
- Performs MRI scans & administers contrast
- Performs MRI and as needed Radiography
- Promotes and maintains patient safety
- Adheres to compliance, quality and safety measures within MRI
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Current national certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologist.
- Must hold or obtain current licensure as RT(R)(MR) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist within one year of hire.
- Documentation is required for MRI training, competencies, and scope of approved procedures.
- Must have BLS certification.

- Previous MRI experience
