Banquet Server (On Call)

Qualifications/Requirements: Previous experience in food service or as a server, able to stand and walk for extended periods, and lift and carry trays or other items. Reliable transportation to get to and from work. Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills are crucial for interacting with guests and ensuring their satisfaction. Team player. Schedule FLEXIBILITY is important. Bartending experience is a plus.

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Banquet Server must have the ability to set-up banquet rooms and serve food and/or beverages in accordance with established guest service and sustainability standards. Must be self-motivated and possess good lifting skills. Work with the Banquet Team to ensure a successful and well-coordinated event. Ensure the complete set-up and tear down of banquet functions and special events. Maintain all banquet equipment and banquet space.

Knowledge of the entire hotel food & safety compliance procedures, hotel safety procedures to ensure the safety and security of our guests and employees.

Educational / Certification / License Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent - Required

California Food Handlers / ServSafe Certification - Required

State approved Certification Alcohol management - Required

Previous Experienced Required

Minimum 6-months of Food & Beverage experience required; hospitality experience preferred.
