Job Overview
We are a short term rental property service company. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Groundskeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and functionality of our outdoor spaces. This role requires a experience in landscaping and an eye for detail, ensuring that all grounds are well-kept and inviting. The Groundskeeper will work with various tools and equipment to perform essential landscaping, trash removal, power washing and pest control tasks, contributing to the overall aesthetic and health of the property.
Responsibilities
- Maintain gardens, lawns, and landscaped areas through regular care and upkeep.
- Use power tools and hand tools for tasks such as mowing, trimming, edging, and power washing.
- Perform landscape maintenance duties including planting, weeding, mulching, and fertilizing.
- Maintain consistent scheduled pest control at all properties.
- Pull out and return trash bins on trash days
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and stored after use.
- Collaborate with team members to complete larger projects as needed.
- Identify any issues in the outdoor areas and communicate with the central teams
- Basic pool/spa services - such as skimming, running a pool vac, checking chemicals and balancing chemicals
- Must have a truck/van to carry equipment from location to location and a Valid Drivers License
Experience
- Previous experience in groundskeeping, landscape maintenance, pool service or general maintenance is preferred but not required.
- Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality work.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
- A willingness to learn new skills related to groundskeeping tasks.
