What we are looking for
The Maintenance Technician will perform general maintenance and repairs on Short-Term Rental Vacation properties. This role is crucial in ensuring our properties are always in top condition, contributing to an excellent guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs.
- Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify maintenance issues.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and property managers.
- Ensure all repairs and maintenance are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance work performed.
- Collaborate with property managers to schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Order and replace materials and supplies as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in the STR or hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems efficiently.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills.
- Flexibility to work various hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to different properties in Austin, TX.
- Must have own tools and equipment.
