About the Role
As a Medical Assistant, you'll work both independently, and with an Aesthetic Nurse Injector to deliver high quality care to patients. You'll assist the nurse on delivering non-surgical aesthetic treatments, maintain a clean clinical environment, order inventory, respond to patient inquiries and perform other administrative tasks.
What You'll Do :
- Maintain a clean and adequately stocked clinical environment
- Clean and prepare exam rooms based on scheduled procedures
- Room patients
- Collect vital signs, demographic information and patient medical history and document the same in Portrait's Electronic Medical Record
- Obtain photo consent from patient and take pre- and post-procedure photos
- Administrative tasks such as checking out patients, collecting payment, answering phone calls, scheduling appointments and replying to non-clinical patient questions
- Order inventory and ancillary supplies
- Maintain OSHA and HIPAA compliance within the practice
