We take on tough challenges together—and we have fun along the way!About the team and positionPorts America is seeking a labor and employment attorney to join its Legal Team as Senior Corporate Counsel . This position reports to the Vice President of Legal– Litigation, Labor and Employment, Regulatory, and Governance. The role offers flexibility to be based in one of our shared services offices located in Chandler, AZ, or Morristown, NJ.What you’ll be doingAs the Senior Corporate Counsel, Labor and Employment, you will provide expert advice, counsel, and strategic guidance to our Human Resources and Operations teams on a wide range of employment issues across multiple jurisdictions, including those involving a unionized workforce.Key responsibilities include : Advising on labor and employment matters to support compliance and operational excellence.Assisting with the preparation of responses to local, state, and federal administrative charges.Managing labor and employment-related litigation.Collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks.Leading labor and employment-related projects, including policy and process review and development.This role provides a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our operations and workforce strategy while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
