Stocking Associate

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Stocking Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our store is well-stocked and organized, contributing to an efficient shopping experience for our customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting, as well as a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and order in the stockroom and sales floor.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and organize incoming inventory shipments.
• Stock shelves with merchandise in an orderly fashion, ensuring products are easily accessible for customers.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels through regular checks and updates.
• Clean and maintain the stockroom and sales floor to ensure a safe and organized environment.
• Assist with inventory control by monitoring stock levels and reporting discrepancies.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize product placement for maximum visibility.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions regarding product availability and location.
• Operate forklifts or other equipment safely when necessary (training may be provided).

Experience

• Previous experience in retail sales or a stocking role is preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining stock levels.
• Bilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customer bases.
• Familiarity with inventory control processes is advantageous.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
