Position: Auto Body Shop Painter

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare vehicles for painting, including sanding, masking, and priming surfaces.
- Mix and match paint to ensure accurate color matching.
- Apply paint and clear coat using spray guns and other equipment.
- Inspect finished work for quality and ensure proper blending and finishing.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including proper care and maintenance of tools and equipment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including the use of protective equipment and proper disposal of hazardous materials.
- Collaborate with estimators and other team members to ensure timely completion of repairs.
- Maintain documentation of work performed and materials used.
- Continuously update skills and knowledge of new painting techniques and equipment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an automotive painter in a body shop or collision repair facility.
- Strong knowledge of paint mixing, application techniques, and refinishing processes.
- Familiarity with various painting tools, materials, and equipment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines in a flat-rate pay environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical ability to perform tasks requiring bending, standing, and lifting heavy equipment or materials.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
