Job Summary

Responsible for the comprehensive speech and language therapy of assigned patients to include evaluation, program planning, treatment implementation, documentation and discharge planning.

• You will provide goal-directed treatment program planning/implementation, related documentation and communication for pediatric, adolescent, adult and/or geriatric patient populations
• You are responsible for treating patients with suspected speech, language, cognitive, communicative, and swallowing impairments
• You will coordinate daily activities of the speech therapy services, participate in program development, quality improvement and problem solving in a flexible team fashion
• Formulates treatment plan with measurable goals which address identified problems.
• Implements all treatment techniques, modalities and equipment in accordance with the treatment protocols, policies, procedures and competencies of the department.
• Assesses and documents patient response to treatment and learning on routine basis.
• Assesses and documents patient discharge status, goal status and discharge needs/plan.
  
  

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Licensed Speech Therapist
• Bachelors Degree
