Certification Details BLS IV certification Job Details Portsmouth Regional Hospital located in Portsmouth, NH provides care on a 3rd Medical Unit. This unit has 36 beds, patient ratios of 1 : 6 or 1 : 7 during surges. There is a unit secretary available during the day shift and LNAs for both shifts. The type of equipment utilized includes telemetry. Meditech Expanse is the documentation system used. Job Requirements LPN / LVN specialty required. Must have Med-Surg experience and advanced skills in IV certification. Procedures performed on the unit include CBI, wound care, drain management (chest tubes, Jackson-Pratt etc.), Foley insertion, central line dressing changes, telemetry monitoring, and EKGs PRN. Schedule Information The work schedule requires 3-12 hours shifts, every other weekend rotation, and working on rotating holidays. There is a floating policy to float to the same level of care. Staff is expected to perform Bedside Shift Reports, conduct Hourly Safety Rounding, and foster Personal Connections. Dress Code : Scrubs of any color.
