Certification Details ACLS BLS Job Details Job Summary : Travel RN position in the ICU at Portsmouth Regional Hospital, New Hampshire. Unit Name : ICU Number of Beds : 25 Patient Ratios : 2 : 1 Unit staffing description : No LNAs or PCTs. Around the clock mid-levels, Trauma surgeons and respiratory therapist. PT / OT available during day shift. Type of equipment : GE Monitors, Hamilton Bipaps and Hiflows, Puritan ventilator, Hemospheres. Documentation system : Meditech Expanse. Job Requirements Must have strong telemetry skills. Experience titrating vasoactive and inotrope medications. Chest tube experience. Past ICU experience. Preferred : Open Heart experience, Temporary pacing, Swan-Ganz Catheter experience. Schedule Information Scheduling requirements : 12 shifts per month (3 shifts a week). 4 weekend shifts per month. Department leadership completes the schedule around the RTO. Floating policy : Floating will be on a rotation basis with Travelers floating first. Unit Specific Information Procedures performed on unit : Intubation, Central line and arterial line placement, Chest tube placement. Additional Details Dress Code : Scrubs (color doesn’t matter). Patient Experience requirements : MyCare board are updated each shift during bedside shift report. Bedside shift report is completed at each change of shift.
