Job Description: Registered Nurse RN Operating Room Surgery PRN
As a Registered Nurse RN Operating Room Surgery PRN at Portsmouth Regional Hospital, you will be responsible for providing the best possible preventative and supportive intra-operative care to each patient based upon their individual needs. Training for specialties includes High Orthopedics, General, and Neurology volume. You will also receive training on Robotics- Mako and DaVinci.
Key Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include collaborating and effectively communicating with our surgical team, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a safe surgical environment for our patients. You will set up the Operating Room by ensuring all required equipment and supplies are available and in proper working condition. Additionally, you will provide care, compassion, and emotional support to patients and their families throughout the surgical process.
