We design, manufacture and distribute market leading workwear, safety wear and PPE in fully owned production facilities.
Position Details
Title: Warehouse Associate
Report To: Warehouse Manager
Start Date: Flexible
Hours: 10am-6.30pm M-F Optional Overtime
Role Overview
In the warehouse you will mainly be involved in the inbound team, unloading and processing incoming stock. you will be cross trained across different warehouse functions. You will work with your colleagues in the warehouse to ensure efficiency in all areas. As part of the warehouse team, you will play an important role in servicing the customers of Portwest LLC in the United States. We will afford you with the support and guidance you need to succeed in your role, and the development of our business. Some very basic computer skills are required as part of the role.
Primary Responsibilities
- Unloading inbound stock
- Inventory counts
- Stock put-away
- Ensuring order accuracy in size, color, qty, etc.
- Order picking with manual, paper-based pick sheet
- Order packing in preparation for shipping
- Ensures targets are met (working to speed and accuracy)
- Maintaining a high level of health and safety standards
- Performs other general warehouse duties as needed
Must be able to comfortably lift a box weighing up to 50lbs throughout the day. Average box weight is 30lbs.
