We are currently hiring for a Quality Control Technician I in our Boise location. This position is an entry-level position responsible for ensuring products meet quality standards and specifications. This role involves performing inspections, tests, and audits on materials and finished goods to ensure compliance with Company and industry standards.
Duties / Responsibilities
- Understand and interpret AutoCAD drawings.
- Conduct routine inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
- Perform basic tests and measurements using standard laboratory equipment and tools to include a helium leak detector and helium vacuums; ensure equipment calibrations are up to date and documented correctly.
- Document inspection results by completing reports and logs and inputting data into quality databases.
- Assist in the identification and reporting of quality issues or defects to the Quality Manager.
- Perform and record incoming inspections and tests.
- Ensure the Certificate of Conformity, Declaration of Conformity, Inspection Reports, and any other required documentation is completed for shipments as necessary
- Support the implementation of corrective and preventative actions.
- Perform inspections, training, and maintenance on in house precision measurement systems i.e., Keyence, Micro-Vu, etc.
- Report out of specification findings to the Quality Manager or appropriate party.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) protocol and safety regulations.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications / Training Required
Work Environment : Manufacturing / warehouse sites : may have limited exposure to machinery, temperature variations, and chemicals and materials that require PPE / safety gear; Office environment, occasionally.
Physical Demands : Physical ability to stand and / or walk for extended periods, utilize manual dexterity, (repetitive) lifting of up to 25 - 50 pounds, and visual acuity.
