Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) – Therapeutic Consultation (Hybrid Role)
We are seeking an experienced BCBA to join our team as a Therapeutic Consultant. This hybrid role (50% remote, 50% on-site) provides flexibility while ensuring high-quality direct support and training for families and caregivers. The BCBA in this role will:
✅ Work under the supervision of our Lead BCBA to provide individualized therapeutic consultation services.
✅ Support individuals across home, school, and community settings, focusing on behavioral assessments, intervention planning, and caregiver training.
✅ Provide remote and in-person consultation, ensuring at least 25-50% of direct supervision is in-person while allowing for remote service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and develop individualized support plans.
- Provide therapeutic consultation services to families, caregivers, and direct support professionals.
- Train and coach caregivers to implement behavior support strategies effectively.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure alignment of behavioral strategies with individual needs.
- Monitor and adjust behavioral intervention plans based on data-driven decisions.
- Maintain compliance with Virginia Medicaid and DBHDS standards for therapeutic consultation services.
- Document services and progress reports in accordance with regulatory and organizational guidelines.
Qualifications
✔ Master’s degree in ABA, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
✔ Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing.
✔ Licensed or eligible for licensure in Virginia.
✔ Experience providing therapeutic consultation services under the DD Waiver preferred.
✔ Strong caregiver training, consultation, and behavior plan development skills.
✔ Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and adapt services to client needs.
✔ Knowledge of WaMS documentation and service authorization processes is a plus.
