JOB SUMMARY
Shipping and Receiving Manager (Bilingual Korean) will operate both remote overhead crane and Forklift to safely and efficiently load / unload coils / Sheets from trucks and / or railcars and distribute the material to its designated area.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Operate a remote overhead crane and Forklift
- Attach loads to hooks / clamp before operating crane to move the load to designated area.
- Unload and load shipments safely.
- Inspect all trailers to ensure cleanliness and compliance with GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices)
- Efficiently move, stack, and store coils in the appropriate areas as required.
- Operate an RF handheld scanner to manage inventory.
- Operate all equipment safely and efficiently following prescribed work methods.
- Always comply with OSHA and SDS standards and company safety procedures using Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) while performing job duties.
- Rearranging and maintaining coil rows.
- To inspect material shipping and receiving. The material should be inspected as it is being loaded, and the material received should be inspected before removing it from the truck or railcar for any visible damage. If damage is found a) Note the damage on the Inspection report and the driver’s paperwork b) Take pictures c) Place on hold if needed
- Pulling and staging material to the production lines to prevent downtime.
- Perform daily inspections and minor maintenance on the overhead crane and forklift
- Pull and prepare pallets of coils for shipment that are accurate and free of damage as scheduled.
- Inspect pallets to prevent product damage and missing cases.
- Perform daily inspections and minor maintenance on the forklift and Change forklift propane tank as needed.
- Perform other duties within the employee’s training and skills as directed by Shift Leader or Plant Management.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Competency Statements(s)
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education : High School diploma or the equivalent
Experience : 1-2 years in a warehouse or related environment is preferred
Skills : Basic math skills. Must be a communicator, as well as a listener.
Computer Skills : Ability to learn computer skills and warehouse management systems helpful.
Other Skills : Good organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills. Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction—knowledge of safety regulations.
Certifications & Licenses : Forklift and Overhead Crane Certification. IATF is preferred, but not required
