Our Psychosocial Rehabilitation Specialists (PSRs) provide hands-on, behavioral health services to clients in the Central Florida area.

We currently have positions open in Apopka, FL. PSR services are typically provided in a community setting, such as client's homes or agreed-upon public locations where possible.
PSR is expected to be provided in person unless circumstances require other arrangements. This is a face-to-face position in the home and/or community settings.
This position is “Fee-for-Service”, Independently Contracted. Applicants must have dependable transportation, good communication skills, and be able to carry and maintain a minimum caseload of 15 clients, seeing clients a minimum of 3-5 hours/week individually and in group sessions.

PSR specialists must be comfortable with providing services in community settings such as in the home or agreed-upon areas of the community to best help the client meet their treatment plan goals. PSRs focus on working with clients to help them build skills in Independent Living, Social, and Vocational Skills. Activities include but are not limited to:
- Food Planning and Preparation
- Money Management and Budgeting
- Maintenance of the Living Environment
- Hygiene Training
- Training in the appropriate use of Community Services
- Establishing social supports
- Vocational Training/Workshops
Position Requirements:
- Must have a Bachelor's Degree in one of the following areas: Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Criminology, Education, or a related Social Service field.
- Must have a valid Driver's License
- Must be able to commute to the client’s home and in the community.
- Must be able to maintain a consistent, minimum caseload of 10 clients and see clients weekly.
- Candidates with availability and flexibility to schedule multiple clients to maintain a minimum caseload of 15 clients/week.
- Meets with clients Face to Face.
- Meets with clients in their homes and/or communities.
- Willing to transport and/or meet clients for group and community outings.
- Participates in at least one group per month with multiple clients.
- Willing to meet one-on-one and in group settings with clients from 2-5 hours/week.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- PSR Specialists schedule and set their appointments and provide consistent weekly services for 6 months of treatment.
- Meet 3-5 hours/week face-to-face with clients and families to work on appropriate skills according to the client’s Master Treatment Plan/Treatment Plan Review.
- Work with clients and families to best help the client meet their goals.
- PSR establishes rapport/gains trust with assigned clients or families.
- PSR documents the client's progress, follows treatment plan goals, and works and collaborates with Mental Health Therapists as well as anyone involved in the client's treatment.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with leadership staff, administrative team, and other community agencies.
- Submits billing and progress notes within a timely manner based on Florida Medicaid Guidelines.
- Attend monthly supervision meetings as required by Florida Medicaid.
- Attend training provided by PBS to acquire additional education, guidance, and techniques to grow as a PSR and Mental Health Professional.
- Comfortable using skill-building interventions to help clients meet their treatment plan goals.
- Comfortable working independently.
- Comfortable working with clients 12 years old and older.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Preferences:
- Preference for candidates passionate about social services.
- Bilingual (Spanish, Portuguese, and/or Haitian-Creole Speaking)
