Janitor/Maintenance

As a Janitor in our mental health facility, your work plays a key role in supporting the well-being and dignity of our clients, staff, and visitors. You’ll help maintain a clean, calm, and welcoming space where people feel safe and supported—because your work truly matters here.

Responsibilities

· Maintain cleanliness throughout the facility, including patient areas, offices, common spaces, restrooms, and staff areas.

· Sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect floors and surfaces to meet health and safety standards.

· Sanitize high-touch areas regularly to prevent the spread of germs and maintain a hygienic environment.

· Remove trash and recycling promptly and responsibly.

· Refill soap, sanitizer, paper products, and other supplies as needed.

· Use cleaning equipment and products safely and in accordance with protocols.

· Monitor for maintenance needs or safety hazards and report them promptly.

Respect privacy, confidentiality, and the emotional needs of individuals in the facility

What Makes You a Great Fit:

· Experience in janitorial or custodial work, especially in healthcare settings, is a plus (but not required).

· You’re compassionate, respectful, and sensitive to the needs of others.

· You’re dependable, detail-oriented, and take pride in your work.

· Comfortable working around individuals receiving mental health care in a calm, professional manner.

· Able to work independently and as part of a supportive team.

· Physically capable of lifting, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.50 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 15 per week
