Positive Growth clubhouse is for children and youth ages 11-17 designed to provide a comprehensive and unique set of structured, supportive services that include therapeutic services, academic support, case management services, peer support, family engagement, social and recreational activities/outings, age-appropriate life/social skills groups, and other initiatives geared to engage members and assist them in managing behaviors and symptoms.
The open position involves working in a team to support the provision of the above-mentioned services and activities to the clubhouse youth. This professional will also collaborate by driving an agency vehicle to provide transportation for our youth within a 5 mile radius to and from the Clubhouse activities. We are conveniently located in Scottdale, Ga in the metro Atlanta area.
Job Responsibilities: (Transportation) Clubhouse Support Specialist/Driver will operate as a support to the Clubhouse Manager and clubhouse clinical staff facilitating activities at the clubhouse.
Job Duties:
- Responsible for transporting clubhouse members from school and/or home to the clubhouse, returning them home at the end of the day, and to and from field trips and outings. This includes serving as the main point of contact for members and parents for transportation-related issues.
- Update and communicate needed vehicle scheduled services (change oil, tire rotation, etc.)
- Assist and support the Director and Clubhouse Manager to help develop and organize daily activities for clubhouse members and their families. The activities will also include tasks to maintain the clubhouse in a neat and organized manner.
- Empower and encourage members to make use of all identified resources at the Clubhouse.
- Manage and document communications with parents of clubhouse members, including emails, letters, faxes, notifications, etc.
- Assist with maintaining records of clubhouse members including attendance, grades, parent contact data, and other pertinent data.
- Greet, welcome and direct members and visitors entering the clubhouse. Provide general support for visitors and new members.
- Abide by all rules of confidentiality and the Code of Ethics prescribed by PGI.
Physical Job Requirements:
- - Must have a valid Georgia driver’s license and Motor Vehicle Record in accordance with company policy
- - Candidates for selection must pass a criminal background check (including fingerprinting)
Schedule:
- After school
- Evening shift 2:30 PM- 7:30PM
- Monday to Friday (special events may be held on Saturdays)
