JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Chief Operating Officer, the Operations Support Specialist will assist in facilitating organizational operations and programs working closely with the Chief Operating Officer, Compliance Manager, and the Senior Staff. This role is responsible for conceptualizing, generating, planning, managing, and executing high-impact programs and projects for the Program team, including internal referral/cross-departmental partnership development, execution of various operational tasks related to PIHC program strategy & function with the goal to increase capacity, efficiency, productivity, and outcomes throughout the organization. Responsibilities also include assisting with cross-departmental strategic plan implementation, internal key stakeholder relationship management, and solution development within the organization. The Operations Support Specialist will work with departmental directors, managers/supervisors, and administration to implement, development, and support organizational capacity/growth strategies.

Requirements
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for managing special projects from start to finish which includes researching and analyzing information, identifying and recommending potential solutions, and presenting the finished product in the form of a written recommendation or a completed project.
- Assist Operations and Departmental Directors with organizational and departmental work plans/dashboards to include efficiency, productivity, data reporting, projections, and workflow optimization.
- Creates, analyzes, documents and communicates project summaries, dashboards, project plans, risk tracking and status updates regularly to project team members and leadership across the organization as appropriate.
- Assist with project implementation that may include entire agency, specific agency departments, or particular team members. Assist with special projects as directed by the Operations Manager.
- Identify all necessary resources needed to implement special projects.
- Support the Operations Manager with the overall day-to-day internal projects including but not limited to attending meetings/calls, developing spreadsheets, graphs, statistics, reports, and presentation materials.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in public health administration, health care administration, business administration, or related field
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
• Principles and practices of quality management, quality improvement, and quality assurance principles in a public health care setting;
• Evaluation methodologies;
• Theories and techniques of qualitative evaluation, data analysis, and organization/management analysis;
• Ability to communicate project goals with an aptitude to identify and resolve issues;
• Excellent writing, editing, and technical writing skills with an ability to think strategically;
• Ability to research and synthesize information and translate complex, clinical and technical information into plain language;
• Ability to balance multiple concurrent projects;
• Ability to work well within a team environment, as well as independently;
• Interpersonal communication skills with an ability to remain flexible in a fast-paced environment;
• Detail-oriented, multi-tasking with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment is required;
• Excellent organizational, communication, and decision-making skills;
• Self-Starter who is enthusiastic and highly motivated;
• Must be available and willing to occasionally work extended hours as needed (during crunch times) per day or per week, including weekends and holidays, in order to meet organizational needs;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
• Must possess excellent attention to detail and maintain a high commitment to excellence in their work on a daily basis;
• Must exhibit excellent communication, grammatical, & organizational skills;
• Willingness to travel to all PIHC locations on an as-needed basis.
• Ability to communicate project plans effectively to senior staff, key stakeholders, PIHC staff and administration;
License/Licensure
Valid State Driver’s License

- Local travel between Positive Impact Health Centers, Inc. sites and to and from community agencies will be required at times.
- Occasional travel to events for training as needed. Occasional evening and weekend work is required, and working greater than 40 hours per week may be required.
