The role of Stadium Cleanup General Laborer is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized environment within the stadium facilities. This position involves performing a variety of cleaning tasks to ensure that all areas are safe and presentable for employees, visitors, and clients.
Responsibilities:
Cleaning:
- Sweep, clean benches and areas underneath them, operate the blower, carry trash bags, walk around the stadium, stand for 3-4 hours continuously, and follow instructions.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors.
- Collect all aluminum materials for recycling purposes.
- Pick up the rest of the trash after events.
- Required shifts are a minimum of 5 hours.
- Occasionally, the schedule may be from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., or later (8:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., 9:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., and 10:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m., with the last shift being the least likely).
Facility Maintenance:
- Report any maintenance needs to the Crew Lead or Manager.
- Ensure that cleaning supplies and equipment are used properly.
- Follow instructions, safety procedures, and use appropriate protective gear when handling chemicals and equipment.
Customer Service:
- Respond promptly and courteously to any cleaning-related requests or concerns from Management.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Report lost and found items to the Crew Lead or Manager.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- Previous experience in a commercial cleaning role is preferred but not required.
Skills:
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, tools, and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift and move objects as needed.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Flexible schedule and ability to work evenings or weekends if necessary.
- Transportation to the work site.
Working Conditions:
- Physical activity includes lifting, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods.
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals (e.g., bleach or chlorine) and varying temperatures.
