We have the perfect opportunity for you to join our team! We’re currently seeking candidates for the position of a part time DSP who are eager, outgoing, and passionate about making a difference through supporting and teaching adults with autism. The primary goal of Positive Solutions and Consultation, LLC. is to provide high quality services to adults with ASD through ABA (applied behavior analysis) interventions. With this position, you’ll be working closely with individuals in in-home and community settings implementing programs established by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst as well as the goals and outcome within the individual's OhioISP.

Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years old
High diploma or equivalent required,
Must be willing and able to complete training online
Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must have personal means of transportation with a reliable, insured vehicle, and proof of driver's license
Must demonstrate excellent time management skills
Must be willing and able to work with a collaborative team of professionals with the drive to achieve positive outcomes
Must be at ease working with children and adults with developmental disabilities
Must have a reliable vehicle in good repairFlexible scheduling
License and/or certifications:
A Driver’s license, and a reliable, insured vehicle
CPR certification, within the first 30 days of hire
RBT Training in the first 90 days
Physical requirements: The ability to safely lift up to 30lbs., and ability to safely transfer from a sitting position to standing, stamina to walk or stand for at least 60 minutes.
Pre-employment requirements: BCI background check
Job Type: Part Time, evenings and weekends are required
Required experience: 1 year Working with children or adults with ASD or developmental disabilities
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care and support to individuals in their home
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration .
- Observe and document client behavior and progress, reporting any changes to the appropriate staff.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to develop and implement care plans.
- Utilize effective communication skills to foster positive relationships with clients and their families and other team members.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
