Posnack School is seeking a creative and dynamic Digital Content Creator to join our Advancement team. This individual will be responsible for capturing and curating compelling visual and digital content that showcases the vibrant life of our school, strengthens our online presence, and aligns with our mission and Torah values. The Digital Content Creator will play a vital role in promoting Posnack School’s brand through engaging storytelling across social media, email campaigns, and other digital platforms.
Key ResponsibilitiesContent Creation
- Photograph and film weekly campus activities, events, and special programs to capture the unique spirit of Posnack School.
- Produce engaging video recaps for school events, ensuring alignment with the school’s branding and messaging.
- Edit photos and videos for use on social media, the school’s website, and other communication channels.
Social Media Management
- Develop and manage a content calendar for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.).
- Create and post engaging content to grow and maintain Posnack School’s online community.
- Monitor social media trends, track engagement metrics, and adjust strategies to optimize reach and interaction.
Storytelling and Brand Promotion
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and students to gather stories that highlight the achievements, culture, and values of the Posnack School community.
- Ensure all content reflects the school’s Jewish values, mission, and commitment to academic excellence.
Project Management
- Coordinate with the Advancement team to ensure cohesive messaging across all platforms.
- Support school-wide campaigns, including Giving Tuesday, admissions marketing, and annual fundraising initiatives.
Administrative and Technical Support
- Maintain an organized archive of photos, videos, and other media assets.
- Assist with other advancement initiatives as needed.
- Performs other duties as may be deemed necessary for the efficient operation of the department.
- It is essential for the Employee to arrive on time to work every scheduled work day. It is essential for the Employee to maintain good attendance and give ample notice, when possible, when Employee will be absent. It is essential for Employee to speak to co-workers with respect and to follow all of the requirements and expectations in the Employee Handbook.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, digital media, or a related field preferred.
- 2 years of experience in photography, videography, or digital content creation.
- Proficiency with photo and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools).
- Demonstrated success in managing social media platforms and creating engaging digital content.
- Strong eye for storytelling, design, and aesthetics.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Jewish traditions and values is highly preferred.
