Job Summary – Find your purpose and passion
A Direct Support Professional (DSP) mentors and supports individuals with a variety of disabilities in daily living activities, essential life skills and community engagement experiences. You have the flexibility to work part time or full time. Starting wage is $18 per hour, based on experience. Typical working hours are Monday-Friday, 7:30am – 3:30pm.

Job Responsibilities – Be part of an extraordinary supportive community
- Enjoy working as part of a team and independently to provide innovative, person-centered supports and services geared to each individual’s goals
- Perform personal care tasks, including assistance with basic hygiene, grooming, feeding, movement, toileting and health-related tasks
- Learn how to document services provided, such as daily activities, Individual Abuse Prevention plans, Individual Program plans and assessments
- Other reasonable, related duties as assigned by the supervisor or other management staff
Qualifications
Job Requirements – We set you up for success with hands-on training
- Must be able to successfully complete a Department of Human Services Background Study
- Ability to adapt to and respect each individuals needs and preferences
- Must possess adequate communication skills to facilitate accurate, effective, and timely communication with clients, supervisors, family members, and coworkers
- Valid driver’s license, successful completion of a driving record check, and proof of automobile insurance
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds
