About this role
As our Direct Marketing Operations Manager, you will own and optimize our direct mail and email marketing initiatives while building scalable operational frameworks that enhance efficiency and deliver the best Possible experience across channels. Your work will be critical in reaching new customers, improving acquisition costs and LTV, and driving measurable growth.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including creative, data and credit risk, product, legal and lifecycle to ensure campaigns are data-driven, impactful, compliant and seamlessly executed . Success in this role means developing processes and strategies that not only enhance our current efforts but also lay the groundwork for scaling future marketing initiatives within both the direct channel(s) and across the growth channel portfolio.
What you’ll do
- Direct Mail & Email Execution
- Design, execute, and optimize direct mail and email campaigns to drive new customer growth.
- Collaborate with creative, credit risk, our agency partner and numerous data providers (ie: credit bureaus and others) to develop impactful and scaleable messaging and targeting strategies.
- Manage end-to-end campaign production, including vendor coordination, timeline management, quality assurance and testing
- Work closely with our data team and credit bureaus to procure audience files, optimize lists, and develop new models for audience selection.
- Operational Excellence
- Champion an integrated marketing approach by building and implementing scalable processes and workflows to improve campaign execution, consistency and customer centricity across channel (initially focused on direct mail)
- Identify inefficiencies and develop solutions to improve campaign delivery speed and accuracy.
- Document and standardize best practices to ensure repeatable success
- Performance Analysis & Insights
- Monitor campaign performance and provide actionable insights to improve channel performance
- Collaborate with the analytics and credit risk team to refine reporting and optimize targeting and segmentation.
- Lead campaign forecasting, including financial performance, cost, and LTV
What you’ll bring
- Experience:
- 4 years of experience in marketing operations, direct mail, email marketing, or performance marketing in DTC, fintech, subscription services, or high-growth industries.
- Proven ability to manage multi-channel marketing campaigns with a focus on customer acquisition.
- Skills:
- Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate complex campaigns across teams and vendors.
- Analytical mindset with experience using tools like SQL, Tableau, Databricks, Sigma, Amplitude, Singular or similar for campaign performance analysis.
- Familiarity with marketing tech stacks, CRM platforms, and campaign management tools.
