Front Desk Administrative Assistant
Duties and responsibilities for this role typically include:
- Be the welcoming face of POST PT, engaging professionally with patients both in person and over the phone.
- Strategically manage the appointment schedule, optimizing patient flow and availability.
- Organize and maintain electronic health records with accuracy and efficiency.
- Collecting copays and ensuring smooth check-in/out processes.
- Monitoring and following up on patient documentation.
- Running daily and weekly reports, analyzing trends, and sharing insights.
- Tracking and managing appointment cancellations and rescheduling.
- Collaborate closely with the internal team and providers to enhance patient care and streamline office operations.
- Uphold and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Laundry, and basic clinic cleaning.
- Must be willing to travel to our Drydock (South Boston) and Acton locations as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience in a hospitality, clerical, or front desk role is preferred.
- Strong proofreading skills to ensure accuracy in guest information.
- Familiarity with medical office procedures is a plus but not required.
- Proficiency in office software applications such as Google Docs, Sheets, and Gmail.
- Ability to transcribe information accurately and efficiently
- Experience as a personal assistant or in customer service is beneficial.
- Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail.
