As a member of the Post Ranch Inn and Sierra Mar Restaurant, the Bartender will interact with guests, management, and staff to ensure a world class guest experience by providing personal, hospitable, and knowledgeable beverage service.
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Must have a High School diploma, and college or secondary education preferred
- Must have at least 2 years of bartending experience, ideally in a fine dining establishment
- Proven track record of providing a unique guest experience
- Continual interest in staying up to date with beverage, wine, and fine dining trends
- Ability to establish effective partnerships with all departments
- Either have, or be able to provide a CA Food Handler permit within 30 days of hire
- Must be 21 years of age
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to use repetitive hand and body motions on a regular basis such as grasping, writing, typing, listening, hearing, and visual acuity
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time on varying ground levels with stairs on a regular basis
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more on a consistent basis and to bend, stoop, stretch, climb and squat frequently to fulfill a range of manual tasks
Pay for the Bartender position is $16.00 per hour plus tips
