Your Role : What You'll Do
As a Project Manager, you'll oversee construction projects, manage budgets, hire contractors, and ensure timelines are met, all while maintaining the highest quality standards. Actively or semi-actively manage a team of six in-house apartment make-ready teams.
Your Impact
- Project Operations & Execution
- Oversee day-to-day operations for active projects, ensuring they stay on time and within budget.
- Prepare building permit applications and other necessary submittals.
- Write scopes of work, solicit bids, de-scope bids, and negotiate contracts.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules to meet deadlines.
- Collaboration & Leadership
- Act as the primary point of contact between contractors, property managers, suppliers, and senior leadership.
- Partner with design teams, owner's representatives, and the Director of Construction to define project scope and review drawings.
- Supervise construction contracts, quality control, and contractor performance.
- Problem-Solving & Emergency Response
- Review technical submittals and shop drawings during renovations.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and actively manage solutions.
