Summary

Employment Type: Full Time

Schedule: Second Shift, 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.

As a shuttle driver, you are responsible for bringing students to and from campus, ensuring timely pick-up and safe drop-off in the process. Shuttle routes may be in highly populated, high-traffic urban areas. In any area, drivers may provide transportation for events, including field trips, during and outside of normal operating hours. While you are on the road, you are responsible for maintaining a safe environment for everyone inside the bus.

Must have a valid CT Driver's License and PPE endorsement.

Experience Working With Students Strongly Preferred.

• Must have excellent safety record and a clean driving record.
• Must have positive energy and enthusiasm
• Must demonstrate compassion, patience and outstanding customer service when interacting with Students and their families.
• Transport children and other passengers to and from stops along shuttle route
• Adhere to assigned schedule
• Obey all traffic laws
• Always maintain a clean and mechanically sound bus
• Ensure the safety of all students
• Assist students with getting on and off the bus as needed
• Perform inspections of the bus before and after each route
• Attend safety meetings as required
• Transport Students to Special Events
