Position Summary
Post University is looking for a highly motivated individual to work closely with our user services department to gain experience in IT support. The student worker will assist in supporting students and staff as well as troubleshooting physical hardware. In addition, they will learn about our inventory process and contribute to maintaining storage on both campuses. This candidate will work alongside a team of experienced user service technicians and team leads. The ideal candidate is self-driven with a passion for customer service and has a troubleshooting mindset.
Pay Rate: $18/hr
Location: Hess 214/ Post Downtown
Supervisor: Christina Arroyo, Associate Director of IT Operations

Scope of Role
- Partner with senior members of the team to learn the day-to-day functions of user services
- Assist in the on-going documentation of processes
- Gain hands-on experience with troubleshooting hardware and software issues
- Learning to maintain processes and procedures in a customer service environment
- Other projects and duties as assigned
- Maintain a professional demeanor and exhibit appropriate business conduct
- Must be a current student at Post University with a Junior standing or higher or a graduate student of any year.
- Must be currently enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science or a related field
- Extremely detail-oriented and able to follow standard methodologies
- Solid communication skills (oral, written, and presentation) and strong interpersonal skills, along with the ability to work as a team member with minimum supervision
