What are the responsibilities and job description for the Non CDL Driver position at Postal Center International?
Job Summary :
The non-CDL box truck driver will be responsible for safely operating a truck with a capacity of no more than 26,000 pounds. He / she will operate company equipment in a safe and efficient manner to minimize the risk of injury and equipment damage. The non-CDL Driver must have the ability to effectively engage with clients to ensure that their expectations are met.
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Safely operating a 26' box truck with a lift gate
- Loading and unloading company products.
- Compiling accurate delivery records and reports.
- Reporting all delivery-related problems to senior staff.
- Unload the delivery vehicle at the end of each shift.
- Obtaining appropriate signatures upon product delivery.
- Ensuring that all safety policies and procedures are adhered to.
- General warehouse duties.
- Other duties as assigned.
