An excellent opportunity exists to work for a government contractor with competitive compensation and work-life balance. Posterity Group is seeking experienced Vascular Surgery Physican for the Louis A. Johnson VAMC in Clarksburg, WV.
VA Hours :
Monday through Friday, 7 : 30 a.m. – 4 : 00 p.m. Clinic time, operating room procedures and vascular surgical procedures will all be performed.
- Perform surgical procedures to treat vascular conditions such as aneurysms, varicose veins, and peripheral artery disease
- Conduct patient consultations to discuss treatment options and surgical procedures
- Interpret medical imaging results to diagnose vascular conditions accurately
- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care, including trauma medicine, discharge planning, and clinical trials
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in vascular surgery through participation in clinical research and continuing education
- Utilize electronic health record systems like Cerner for accurate documentation
Requirements : Qualifications
Board Certified and / or Board Eligible by the ABS
Licensure : Full and unrestricted license from any US State or territory
Degree : Doctor of medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine
Language : Ability to speak, understand, read, and write English fluently
CME : Current
Certifications : ACLS / BLS
Citizenship : US Citizenship or Green Card (comply with all “E-Verify” requirements)
Standard Infection Control Measures : Must provide within 5 calendar days PPD, Immunizations, etc.)
Previous VA Experience a plus
