Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient care through the execution of care plans, including the administration of medications and clinical interventions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all patient care services provided.
- Continuously monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions to the healthcare team, physicians, patients, and their families.
- Assist patients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and hygiene needs are met.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, and referrals while addressing psychosocial support needs.
- Assess the educational needs of patients and families, providing tailored education based on age, culture, and specific conditions.
- Advocate for both the physical and emotional well-being of patients within your care.
- Valid and active RN license in Kentucky or a compact state license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within one month of hire.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification to be obtained within six months of hire.
