Primary Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans using dishwashers or by hand.
- Clean and dry garbage cans as needed and at the end of each meal service.
- Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in a clean and orderly condition.
- Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas.
- Prepare and package individual place settings.
- Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
- Sweep and scrub floors.
- Clean and prepare various foods for cooking or serving.
- Load or unload trucks that deliver or pick up food and supplies.
- Receive and store supplies according to establish control procedures.
- Set up banquet tables as needed.
- Stock supplies such as food and utensils in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and salad bars.
- Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, by hand or using hand trucks.
- Receive, store, clean, and prepare for pick-up dish, glassware, flatware, and related rentals.
- Provide information regarding dishwashers needs (supplies, schedules, etc.) to the Chef, supervisors, co-workers by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
- Perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
Qualifications:
- must have a Tulsa County Food Handlers Card.
