Job Description
Title: Training Manager – Hourly Non-Exempt
Reports To: Director Food Service
Job Summary:
fireside Market is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Training Manager to assist the Kitchen Manager in leading our kitchen operations and training program at our Slinger site. The ideal candidate will develop and facilitate training within fireside KITCHEN at all levels. This role will also help oversee daily operations, supervise staff, and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction. This role will assist in establishing delicious, made-to-order offerings while ensuring guests have memorable dining experiences.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop training materials for kitchen staff.
- Coordinate, schedule, and facilitate training programs for kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Provide feedback on training programs to management and help identify opportunities for improvement.
- In the absence of the Kitchen Manager, oversee daily restaurant operations, including supervision of staff and ensuring high food quality standards, presentation, and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards.
- Address customer feedback and concerns to ensure satisfaction.
- Other duties as assigned.
Additional Duties or Tasks Assigned:
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements for The Job:
- ServSafe certification and ability to obtain ServSafe proctor designation.
- At least 5 years of experience in the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry.
- Strong communication skills.
- Minimum of 3 years of training experience in the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry.
- Knowledge of current food safety regulations and best practices.
- Proficiency in full MS Office Suite.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Passion for food and customer service.
- Teamwork and verbal communication skills.
