Summary
We are seeking a talented Social Media Content Creator to join our team at Potency LLC. In this role, you will be responsible for creating engaging, short-form video content on-site at our dispensary. Your content will highlight our products, people, and brand, helping to build our online presence across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
Responsibilities
- Capture and produce engaging short-form video content on-site, including product reviews, behind-the-scenes looks, customer and staff spotlights, and other social media trends.
- Develop creative content strategies that align with our brand and resonate with our audience.
- Stay up to date on social media trends, cannabis industry news, and viral content opportunities.
- Edit and optimize video content for maximum engagement across platforms.
- Manage and grow our social media presence, posting regularly and engaging with followers.
- Ensure all content adheres to cannabis marketing regulations and brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with the marketing team and management to plan campaigns and promotions.
- Comfortable being in front of a camera. While current staff may partake, the bulk of the content will involve you and our products.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in social media content creation, with a portfolio showcasing short-form video work.
- An established following or demonstrated ability to grow engaged audiences on TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts.
- Strong video shooting and editing skills (mobile-friendly, quick turnaround).
- Ability to think creatively and innovatively when developing content ideas.
- Passion for the cannabis industry with an understanding of advertising restrictions.
- Experience with video editing software (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar) is a plus.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively to meet content deadlines.
- Must be 21 , have own transportation, be reliable, a self starter and able to work with a team.
