PotlatchDeltic St. Maries Complex has an opening for an Industrial Electrician Apprentice in the Plywood Mill of our facility. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): installing and maintaining electrical equipment, circuits, conduit and assisting/working with millwrights to repair equipment. Employee will be working with various types of hand tools and machinery including (but not limited to): pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical power tools, pipe threading machine and hydraulic conduit bender. Operation of a forklift, manlift and other weight handling machinery is expected.
The hourly rate for this position is $29.42-$33.13 depending on experience.
Requirements:
- Must be enrolled in an Electrician Apprenticeship with the State of Idaho or be willing to enroll with the State.
- Must have Industrial experience. Electrical experience preferred but can be mechanical or production experience.
- Must be strong in Mathematics.
- Must be able to work in temperature extremes.
- Must be able to communicate well both written and verbally and be computer literate.
- Experience operating forklift, front end loader preferred.
- Willingness to work varied shifts/hours as required.
