Job Role
The Associate Financial Advisor will be responsible for creating and implementing personalized financial plans, managing investments, and providing financial advisory services to individual clients.
- Supports senior advisors with analysis, client service, and technical assistance.
- Meets independently with clients to discuss their plan and investments.
- Attends client meetings and takes notes in collaboration with senior advisors.
- Analyzes client information and prepares reports and presentations.
- Enters data into financial planning software and drafts plans.
- Analyses asset allocation and generates rebalancing trades.
- Researches products, product pricing, and carrier information.
- Researches investment managers and their pricing.
- Interfaces with broker-dealers or custodians to obtain information and account data.
- Sets up and retrieves reports in the portfolio management system.
- Assists in generating performance reports.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the financial services industry.
- FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses.
- A clean SEC and FINRA record.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Skills in financial planning and retirement planning.
- Knowledge of finance and investments.
- Experience in providing financial advisory services.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
