Potomac Urology – Fair Oaks, VA and Manassas, VA (other locations available)

We are looking for a recent college graduate with a passion for men's and women's health for a full-time scribe position in a general urology practice located in Fair Oaks, VA. Candidates would be working with one physician, a fellowship trained urologist, out of our Alexandria office. Previous scribes have gone on to medical school and Physician Assistant school. No previous medical experience required. Ideal candidate would be interested in staying in the position for at least a year.

Job responsibilities would include assisting the physician with office based procedures, scribing for routine office visits, and serving as a point of contact for patients when the physician is operating. Initial training would include introduction to our electronic medical system, training in relevant anatomy and disease processes with the physician, and learning about surgical and non-surgical treatment options for these pathologies. We would assist you in any way possible in achieving your goals from a career standpoint. Join us in making a difference in the lives of our patients!

A busy urology practice has an opening for a medical scribe at our Manassas office. Knowledge of medical terminologies and prior medical scribing experience is strongly preferred, but not required. Proficiency in other languages is appreciated.
