About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Key Accounts Associate to join our growing team. This individual will support and deepen strategic relationships with our most important distribution partners, including independent broker-dealers, RIAs, and TAMPs. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience in financial services, preferably within asset management or a related distribution role.
This position is onsite in Maryland and requires significant travel to meet with clients, attend industry events, and support regional wholesalers.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Key Accounts in managing and expanding relationships with top intermediary partners.
- Serve as a liaison with independent broker-dealers, RIAs, and TAMP platforms to maintain and grow product access and visibility.
- Manage the flows data process, ensuring accurate tracking of fund inflows and coordinating with internal stakeholders to facilitate wholesaler compensation.
- Prepare and deliver client-ready reports, platform updates, and meeting follow-ups.
- Coordinate with internal teams including our events planner, sales, marketing, operations, and compliance to support account needs and partnership payments for events.
- Represent the firm at industry events, client conferences, and home-office meetings.
- Maintain detailed CRM records with Advisor lists using PlanPro and HubSpot while contributing to strategic account planning.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in asset management, financial services, or a related field.
- Understanding of intermediary distribution models, including independent BDs, RIAs, and TAMPs.
- Strong Excel and data management skills; experience with CRM and reporting tools preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly (30–50%).
