We are known for our commitment to excellence, safety, and customer satisfaction. We are currently seeking an experienced Concrete Construction Estimator to join our rapidly growing team!
Position Overview:
The Concrete Construction Estimator will prepare accurate cost estimates for commercial and municipal concrete construction projects by reviewing blueprints, specifications, and other project related documents to assess materials, labor, equipment, and time needed to complete the projects. The Estimator will work closely with leadership and project managers to ensure alignment on projects and deliver exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for concrete construction projects.
- Conduct take offs and develop/manage project budgets, schedules, and resources.
- Coordinate and communicate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Review project plans and specifications to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
- Manage projects from start to finish: order materials, track change orders, monitor and track project costs throughout the construction process, ensure all scopes are completed at a high standard, troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Monitor multiple bid posting sites.
- Ensure quality control and adherence to safety protocols.
- Utilize software including Stack CT Estimating, Blue Beam, Procore, Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
Qualifications:
- 1 year of proven experience as an Estimator, Project Manager, or similar role in concrete construction.
- Strong knowledge of concrete construction techniques, materials, and industry standards.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in estimating software and project management tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Valid driver’s license.
